I wrote a grossly romantic post about my car but the upshot of the whole thing is that I have to put my car down. Or take it to the farm. Or whatever stupid, vague metaphor you prefer for death.

I’m sad about it. First world problems. Blah blah blah. The end.

Finding a place to live tomorrow, why is this so difficult in the real world?

“Oh this apartment’s cute but COCKROACHES”
“This one has an adorable kitchen but uh why is the house only 512 sq ft feet total?”
or WATER DAMAGE EVERYWHERE

I think it’s really just that Killeen is a super seedy place to live but I need to get this locked down, we move in July 1st and that is no time at all.

On an unrelated note, I caught a fish on accident yesterday so IT’S COOL GUYS, IN A POST APOCALYPTIC SOCIETY I COULD TOTALLY FEND FOR MYSELF (this is a facetious statement please never rely on me for anything we will die horribly).

My little brothers turn twenty today, which is weird for me because they are permanently eight years old in my brain. The adult versions of them are like these people I sort of know who, you know, occasionally stay at my parents’ house and eat all their food.

I guess it’s just strange to realize that the person who once bit you over a firetruck is now twenty.
